What to watch on TV during Halloween

I love watching the shows about Halloween. On the Food Network is Halloween wars. A bake off where teams made up of a candy maker, master carver, and a baker come up with crazy Halloween sculptures. Iron Chef had a face off with Halloween Candy as their secret ingredient. It seems like a lot of T.V shows decided to use Halloween this year as a catapult to jump their show onto the A list. American Horror Story which I have to say is the scariest thing I have watched in a long time. Then theres Once Upon a Time, not really scary but kinda has that feeling of Halloween spirit. It's okay, we will have to watch and see if the premise of the story is going to be worth while. Then theirs Grimm. Really like it. I think this one has potential. Pumpkin Chuck'n, did get to see this one but the commercials look great. They build these massive Catapults to launch pumpkins. I find it amusing we have people dumping thousands of dollars to shoot a pumpkin across a field. I love to watch the stories of people dedicated to growing Giant Pumpkins. Most of all I love to watch show about the History of Halloween. The History Channel is the melting pot for all things Halloween. Here are a few to watch if you have on demand or don't worry they come around most every year.

Bloodlines The Dracula Family Tree
Vampire Secrets
In Search Of The Real Frankenstein
Witch Hunt
The Real Story of Halloween
Modern Marvels Halloween Tech
Haunted Tombstone
Haunted Histories Collection

These shows take the myths, the facts and how they were started and how they have evolved today. I know we are at the end of the season but if you need that mid year Halloween fix, look them up and find out how much Halloween and it's characters play into our pop culture.
